Grant Sarver's memorial service will be held on Saturday January 7th in Federal Way, WA at Knutzen Family Theatre from 4-6 PM. This is going to be a potluck type of event due to the amount of people so if you could please bring finger food that would be great.

    The address is:
    Knutzen Family Theatre
    3200 SW Dash Point Road
    Federal Way, WA 98023

Also for those of you wishing to send cards to the family you can send them to the NWBA mailbox at:

    NWBA c/o Sarver Family

This is just a mailbox so please do not send flowers and such. We will forward all cards and condolences to the family.

Thank you and we will see you there,

    Fellow Blacksmiths,
I am sorry to announce that Grant Sarver passed away this morning due to a aortic aneurism.
Grant was a Founding Member of the NWBA, past Board Member and a very gracious supporter and contributer to our organization and the world of blacksmithing. He was a unique fire that burnt brightly amongst our forges and will be very much missed.

Our condolences go out to his family and we will post any services information here once they are determined.
