    Ok... So we are going to have The smokers and BBQ's going and home made pies... More food than a army of 15 year ol' step kids could eat!!!

    Hopefuly Bill Apple will be able to do an anvil repair demo

    But the High Point of the day will be time trials for the Ironwood Derby!!

    Start building your racer to bring to the event! We will have gravity races with prizes for the winner! We ( Its Andy and Lisa's idea, I just wanted to play) hope to make the Ironwood Derby a regular part of the conference agenda...

    Your car must be no more than 4" wide and weigh less than 5 pounds to be eligible to race!

      The track is done.... I got a guy working on timing lights.... PLEASE build and bring a car! $200 guaranteed purse.... 4" wide, 12" long and less than 5 lbs.... $20 makes you eligiable for prize money but anyone can bring a car to run...

      We got a twenty dollar digital scale at harbor freight yesterday.Now I need to get in the shop and let my RATFINK out of the box.Oh ya I also got a brand new two dollar chinese file.So you know I'm getting serious.You all better just stay home maybe watch the derby on espn.I dont know if I can handle watching a bunch of dudes crying in their carharrts.I'll bring a good supply of kleenex.I must say I have always enjoyed taking candy from babys.See ya there.

      We all know the more folks we get involved the more fun this will be......Times is ticking....Larry could you tell the people about the scoring ?I understand its a combo of speed and style points....Any how most evertbody keeps a crying hanky in thier back pocket.

      Yep.... I dont care what you want to race.... Bring a rock... if it fits in the track and is less than 5 lbs... and you wanna pony up $20 to be in the running... we be rock racing..
      Prize money will be awarded as follows

      $20 entry fee… All of which will be returned as prize money

      It will be 40% to the fastest car 20% second 10% third….. 30% to the neatest car If we get 30 cars that would make fastest time worth $240


      I am putting up $200 out of my own pocket if we dont get at least 10 cars that pony up (you can race if you dont put in the $20, your just cant win prize money)

      Well if you brought two cars and paid $40 theoretically you could win fastest, second fastest and neatest for a 90% take of the prize pot!
