• Founding Member Grant Sarver Passes

    Fellow Blacksmiths,
I am sorry to announce that Grant Sarver passed away this morning due to a aortic aneurism.
Grant was a Founding Member of the NWBA, past Board Member and a very gracious supporter and contributer to our organization and the world of blacksmithing. He was a unique fire that burnt brightly amongst our forges and will be very much missed.

Our condolences go out to his family and we will post any services information here once they are determined.

This is sad news and like all news such as this, too soon!

I don't think I have ever been to a NWBA conference, that Grant was not there

      Grant will be missed.

Grant, You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. You've left a rich legacy of friendship, ingenuity, and damn fine tools. You'll always be welcome at my fire. My condolences to your wife, words are inadequate to express my sorrow and concern for her loss.
